A great opportunity for an individual with strong coding background to join our leading client in the banking industry as a Senior Python Developer/ Architect.

Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, or relevant industry experience is required.
• Minimum 10-15 years of work experience with Traders, Desk Heads, Market Risk Managers, Finance, Quants and Model Validation teams.
• Possess Strong mathematical and analytics skills.
• Hands-on experience in object-oriented development using C++ or Java and Python.
• Skilled in developing and implementing algorithms to solve mathematical problems.
• Good understanding of credit, rates instruments and associated life cycles.
• Experience with resolving pricing related issues and optimizing calculators and simulators working with Quants and Global Risk Analytics teams (GRA).
• Highly experienced in numerical and optimization methods.
• Pricing and Analytics development for credit products (Bonds, Loans, TRS, ETFs and Credit Derivatives) and interest rate derivatives.
• Knowledge of financial derivatives and capital markets.
• Good communication, collaboration and people management skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high pressure and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

• As a lead developer responsible in designing and delivering software to fulfil requirement in global regulatory mandates.
• Involve with global team to architect strategic technology stack for Micro Trading Technology.
• Collaboratively work with regional business and support partners to provide timely response to business production queries and outages
• Build up regional domain knowledge on risk technology infrastructure and build up development presence in the region.
• Responsible of managing offshore team's software deliverables.
• Provide guidance to regional team's best development practice and help advocating the bank's solution delivery methodology initiative.
