Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison for the company on Regulatory, Customer and third-party audits.
  • Implements Organization\xe2\x80\x99s Quality Management System and Safety Management System to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements.
  • Review & revise Regulatory Exposition Documents, Company Quality Policy, Quality Procedures including the scope of work & capability list periodically as necessary.
  • Conduct System, product and process audits to ensure regulatory/customer requirements compliance. Also drive Corrective Action Request (CAR) prompt closure with effective Corrective and Preventive actions.
  • Custodian of all Quality documents and ensures timely and periodic up keeping is performed to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Partner and engage with Operations/Engineering teams to facilitate and drive robust RCCA in order to reduce Escapes/COPQ/Customer Disruptions and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Partner and engage with all stakeholders by strengthening their Quality knowledge through deploying/facilitating periodic training on Regulatory requirements/ Human Factors/ Foreign Object Damage/ Safety Management System.
  • Support the review and approval process of First Article Inspection and ensure process changes are effectively captured and documented.
  • Participate and or drive continuous improvement initiatives/activities.
  • Track and monitor quality KPIs and perform trend analysis to identify systemic improvement opportunities.
  • Report performances of the quality system to the management for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
  • Review the authorisation of certification on a yearly basis to determine the competency of technical personnel and inspectors. Perform any other duties as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or any related disciplines.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Aviation industry in a Quality Assurance environment.
  • Working knowledge of CAAS, FAA, EASA, CAAC regulatory authority regulations and guidance materials.
  • AS9110 Lead Auditor qualification and competent in quality auditing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Basic Aviation Repair Methods and Techniques.
  • Knowledge of basic gas turbine engine operation, construction - specifically blades and vanes.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills, keen learner and strong team-player.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Able to multi-task, work under pressure and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Additional Quality related formal training (CAAS SMS) is a plus.
