As Strats it is our job to deliver high-quality technical solutions quickly for some of the core systems in Financial Markets. To do so, we use cutting edge functional programming languages and formal methods, and interact frequently and intensively with our business stakeholders.
We are looking for someone to join our team of Haskell developers in Singapore to develop the bank\xe2\x80\x99s cloud-based derivatives pricing platform. You will work alongside business stakeholders and other teams in Financial Markets to implement and frequently deploy new functionality that will be used in the bank\xe2\x80\x99s mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, extensive experience with applying functional programming, the ability to learn about the business domain, and the ability to interact well with business stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate
Demonstrable experience with software development using functional programming languages, preferably Haskell.
4+ years experience in industry delivering software solutions, preferably using functional programming languages.
MSc or PhD in Computing Science or another STEM field is preferable, but optional in the presence of extensive experience in functional programming.
Experience with using Linux environments.
Experience with developing server-side software.
Willingness to learn about Financial Markets and derivative products.
Willingness to learn about Cloud computing.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to learn new theory and skills quickly.
