We are looking to hire a Senior Formulator who is willing to share his/her greatness in formulations to contribute to a world free of harmful chemicals.If you've got the creativity and scientific savvy to whip up fantastic natural formulations and perfect your original cosmetic concoctions then step up and be counted among our growing team of brilliant scientists at the Human Nature Natural Care Labs.The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely development of new products from the time of conceptualization to search of appropriate ingredients, formulating, costing, sample preparation, series of testing, production trial up to product launch. Managing staff; planning and perform department activities.Responsibilities:1. To ensure that all product development and related functions are complied accurately and promptly:Regular Basis - Daily

• Assist the R&D operations Lead and Creative Director in guiding the R&D team in
• prioritizing projects and deliverables
• Help monitor progress of new product development, reformulation and alternative testing
• Monitor status of new products and reformulations under development
• Update and upload accurate product formulation and costing on the shared drive
• Research about natural ingredients and market trends
• Request pertinent documents of new ingredients from suppliers and have it screened and
• approved before sampling and use.
• Prototyping of samples for new product development
• Establishing standard specification of new products
• Perform stability testing of products being developed and accomplish the stability testing form
• Research possible causes of irritation and answer product customer complaints
• Ensure general cleanliness of office space and laboratory area by practicing 5S and GLP

Regular Basis - Periodically

• Preparation of Batch Manufacturing Record
• Validation of first three (3) production batches of new product
• Validation of existing products using alternative raw material or with formula/process adjustment
• Submit Process Validation Reports
• Attend NPD, SC coordination and QA/R&D operational meetings
• Perform 5S and help with the inventory count in the laboratory
• Participate in company-wide inventory count in the warehouse and third party manufacturer
• Researches subjects as requested, and prepares special presentation for management approval
• Investigation of production and quality issues
• Rework of bulk from production with issues
• Checking of ingredients list, percent natural, and product claims in the label
• Facilitate testing of raw materials with issues for production
• Performs other duties from time to time as may be assigned

• Courteousness in communicating with internal staff, third party service providers and external suppliers/customers

4. Accountable for providing and helping build the Company by strengthening our culture of shared ownership and bayanihan.5. Performs any and all other tasks and functions that may be assigned from time to time by his/her superior.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience in R&D for cosmetics or pharmaceuticals, with knowledge of natural products
• Experience in formulating with natural ingredients is a distinct advantage
• Determination and commitment - natural products require much trial and error
• Strong analytical skills
• Has people management skills
• Dynamic personality and must be able to work well with a team
• Proficiency in the use of computers and MS Office applications required for presentations and reporting
• Familiar with good laboratory practices and can operate common laboratory equipment
• Strong desire to use your skills to benefit the country and consumers
• Love for the Philippines!
• Must be willing to work in our manufacturing plant in Carmelray 1 Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna
