About the Position

The Senior Regional Marketing Manager ASIA based in Singapore is responsible for implementing marketing programs that fuel demand generation with highly qualified leads to drive sales engagement with new and existing opportunities. As the primary liaison between sales and marketing, they work across both teams to deliver an unparalleled prospect and customer experience. Data-driven, they conduct deep territory analysis to build regional go- to-market strategies and marketing plans — to include identifying target accounts and creative campaign opportunities in order to support our account-based marketing efforts. With excellent communication and collaboration skills, they bring the local sales and marketing teams along the journey, with an up-to-date calendar of activities, frequent presentations, and well-documented plans. They orchestrate all aspects of a diverse range of digital and in-person events. Always agile, they identify in-market direct and channel opportunities to generate demand, while driving final mile execution with Account Executives and SDRs to ensure marketing leads are efficiently routed and contacted for optimal revenue conversion. They recognise the contribution of others on the Marketing Team and ensure content and design requirements are communicated in advance and properly documented understanding always that marketing is a team sport. A successful candidate thrives in a team environment, while being a resourceful, independent, self- starter who can work effectively with minimal direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct frequent and deep territory analysis with the data available (target accounts, competitive landscape, historical demo requests, pipeline & revenue, current install base, geographic target account clusters, industries) and leverage gained insight to create an agile marketing strategy and plan for the region
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive Regional Marketing Plan designed to meet or exceed business targets for fiscal and quarterly planning This includes budget management, ROI reporting, and tracking the impact of all organic and paid marketing motions throughout the region - with direct accountability for achieving agreed-upon results
  • Ensure plans, reports, and status are clearly communicated to the broader sales and marketing teams, maintaining an up-to-date marketing plan for the region that includes a calendar of marketing motions and weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on results, that snap to the global marketing framework
  • Use qualitative and quantitative measures to assess regional in-market along with potential opportunities to drive new logos; activities may include third party programs, regional associations, customer testimonials, associations, content syndication, sponsorship and speaking opportunities, local ABM campaigns, RFP initiatives, and more, recommending new and effective ways to increase awareness of Whispir in the local market
  • Plan and execute sponsored events including pre-event logistics, on-site logistics, marketing materials, booth set-up and tear- down, internal and external event communication to ensure each event is delivered on-time, on-budget and in support of desired outcomes (tie to integrated marketing campaigns)
  • Manage regional marketing campaigns, programs, Whispir-led virtual and in-person events (scheduling, hosting, promoting, follow-up), overseeing regional collateral, etc., while keeping marketing colleagues informed and building sufficient time into plans for content and design development
  • Provide crucial input into the development of global content and other marketing initiatives to ensure the unique requirements of each market are incorporated to reduce the requirement for localisation or additional work later
  • Execute partner marketing programs and initiatives to achieve joint business objectives, including webinars, events, co-development of thought leadership content, public relations, social media, and digital marketing
  • Schedule and lead ongoing check-ins with the extended sales and marketing teams to ensure regional marketing plans remain on track, no lead is left behind, and to conduct post-mortem reviews on all completed activities to refine our approach
  • Work with Product Marketing to ensure distribution of (sometimes printed). collateral and promotional materials such as case studies, etc.
  • Oversee HubSpot and Salesforce lead entry, tracking, and routing for the Monitor MQL to SQL performance at a granularity of individual leads to gain sales feedback on what worked or didn't work in order to continue improving our approach
  • Review and track invoices and expenditures (e.g., cost of show services, vendors, booth space, shipping, equipment, etc.)
  • Additional assignments as required

About You

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, and MBA is a plus
  • Strong track record of success as a Regional Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Manager with 7+ years experience in a high growth B2B business, preferably SaaS in Asia.
  • Experience operating with targets, lead generation, and funnel conversion from MQL to billed customers
  • Analytical and data driven with the proven ability to measure performance and connect insights to inform decisions and make conversion recommendations
  • Experience using a range of software applications including Salesforce, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically
  • Super influencer and collaborator with experience working with multiple stakeholders within a business at all levels to present plans, obtain feedback and share insights
  • Experience with Martech platforms and CRM, preferably HubSpot and Salesforce and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce reports, and Tableau
  • Experience leading regional go-to-marketing strategies and marketing plans
  • Self-driven with an unwavering attention to detail and deadlines
