Overview
The Senior Relationship Management Team is a part of the Global Client Account Management Function within Nomura\'s Wholesale Division. The role is an Executive Director within the Senior Relationship Management function to manage a set of institutional clients.

Responsibilities
Client Coverage

  • Manage an agreed portfolio of Clients that is aligned with Global and regional sales and product objectives
  • Serve as a key point of senior connectivity, partnership and engagement with the above clients, irrespective of product or geography
  • Maintain strong relationships with the key decision makers in Nomura
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to clients
  • Facilitate engagement with the Nomura platform and where appropriate provide regional representation for key cross-divisional/ regional initiatives e.g. ESG
  • Actively take the lead in engaging clients, sharing best practice and thought leadership
  • Work with other client facing operations to help with client connectivity and problem solving
  • Leverage Nomura\'s strengths such as ESG, Research, Trading to grow our Hedge Fund / Family Office relationships
  • Connect Nomura\'s senior management with these clients
  • Establish, monitor and review client performance against expected outcomes
  • Selectively add clients that are aligned with the business objectives
Client Governance
  • Monitor resource allocation and ensure that the resource allocation returns are in line with expectations and budget
  • Work closely with clients across the entire client lifecycle and ensure that the Corporate Functions are fully aligned and understand the businesses expectations with regards to these clients
  • Work in partnership with the Corporate functions to maximize and deliver a consistently positive client experience from pre to post trade
  • Ensure that client communications and plans are captured within the Client Relationship Management tool
  • Ensure that Nomura possesses an in-depth understanding of the clients\' business financial and non-financial situation
Key Stakeholders Engagement
  • Regional Heads of Senior Relationship Management
  • Regional GM Heads and Global Product Heads
  • Regional and Global Product Sales
  • Regional Client Account Management
  • GM Strategy
  • The Client Services Group and other client facing utilities
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in Global Markets Product and Services
  • Minimum 6 year of experience in Sales Management, or Relationship Management with Investor Clients in the Financial Institution space (Asset Managers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Insurance Companies, Hedge Funds, Banks, Private Equity Sponsors, Pension Funds)
  • Minimum 6 year of experience in managing Stakeholders both internally and externally
  • A strong working knowledge of financial and non- financial risks that need to be managed and monitored by the Bank
