Job Description

ISCE2 is looking for a highly motivated candidate to join Green Chemistry (GC) Division and drive sustainability efforts in chemical testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, environmental science, and sustainability practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and implementing sustainable practices in chemical testing, identifying areas for improvement, and developing various strategies to promote sustainable practices in the testing, inspection, and certification industry sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze current testing methods and practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement sustainable testing protocols for chemical testing.
• Develop strategies to reduce waste and promote sustainability in chemical testing.
• Provide technical support to laboratory staff in implementing sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external key stakeholders to develop and implement new forms of sustainable initiatives and ecosystems.
• Stay current on the latest sustainability trends and best practices in chemical testing within the testing, inspection, and certification industry.
• Educate staff on the importance of sustainability and promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
• Develop, monitor, and report on green and sustainability metrics and progress towards sustainability goals.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in laboratory testing and analysis.
• Strong understanding of sustainability practices and their application to chemical testing.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards related to chemical testing.
