Demonstrates ability to understand client business issues/research needs and with capability in delivering the highest standard of service levels, acts quickly and positively on every occasion in all aspects of research activities, working closely with relevant Research business units the incumbent will: Collect and analyze multiple datasets, to enable the delivery of high-quality reports and presentations which have an impact and create change through insightful findings Design and develop qualitative research methods as appropriate to address the client's strategic objectives Lead briefings on emerging trends in the data, new strategic opportunities, and the synthesis of data, leveraging digital research-related tools, both internal and external, to enhance efficiencies and data analysis with the up-to-date research literature Develop strong and effective collaborative relationships with both research development and delivery teams, as well as with the vendors for tasks or processes that are outsourced Coordinate project delivery pipelines, and act as an effective ambassador for the team and the organization Contribute to its sustainability through sufficient attention to both income and expenditure, supporting the Research Leader as needed to spot opportunities and identify and mitigate risks Keep abreast of industry and target market changes Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities Degree in Marketing Science, Communications, Brand, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, or another related social science discipline Possess 2-3 years of hands-on experience conducting custom marketing research projects of research and/or consulting experience (within government, public/third sector/academic, or at a research consulting firm) Ability to understand requirements, documentation, a good grasp of existing technologies with good communication skills to articulate concepts Creative, the solution-oriented mindset with the drive to see plans through to implementation as well as can deliver content and key messages at scale Energetic, motivated, and capable of building relationships both internally and externally with project management knowledge and relevant skill sets A proven record of exemplary client service Possess a proactive learning attitude who is self-motivated and a self-starter A collaborative team player who is not afraid to articulate his or her points-of-view Organized, meticulous, deadline-driven, and able to multi-task Works well under pressure, with the patience and perseverance to see through long timelines Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills Bilingual (English and Mandarin/Malay/Tamil) Critical Success Factors and Key Challenges Intrinsic drive to get things done in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, producing work independently and collaboratively Possess a sharp eye on client relationships Be able to operate in a team Excite about the prospect of working directly with (and balancing the workload for) multiple clients and new business pitches at any given time Able to form strong, lasting, and meaningful bonds with all internal and external stakeholders Be open-minded, persistent, and highly collaborative to interact successfully with both internal and external clients Blackbox has an organizational commitment to the principles of diversity and inclusion.
