Purpose

As part of the Worley Graduate Community and under supervision and mentorship within the civil engineering department, you will assist in the delivery of engineering services to Worley\' and our customers\'.

Responsibilities

  • Manage group of Resident Engineers (REs) and Resident Technical Officers (RTOs).
  • Preparation and submission of Duty Roaster, checking staffs timesheets, and updating of leave records for all staffs, where required.
  • Attend all necessary project meetings requested by client.
  • Attend weekly project safety inspection on rotational basis.
  • Review Weekly Reports.
  • Preparation and submission of Monthly Reports.
  • Review and approve Document Acceptance Requests (DARs) and ensure REs reply Document Acceptance Requests (DARs) within time frame given by client.
  • Inspect critical formworks and sign-off the formwork checklist.
  • Conduct internal meetings, review minutes, circulate to project team and follow up on items discussed.
  • Follow up on observed near misses, if any, and report to client.
  • Support client on Safety related matters based on client\xe2\x80\x99s requirement.
  • Compliance to all Health and Safety policies.
  • Report to Qualified Person Supervision (QPS) for any non-compliance at site.
  • Ensure compliance to specifications and provide recommendation for rectification works.
  • Identify any construction process shortcoming and recommend improvement.
  • Assist QPS(Geo) in preparation of Instrumentation reports, where required.
  • Coordination with home office for all administrative matters.
  • Prompt reporting to client on any non-compliance on safety and quality related matters.
  • Stationed full time on site.
Qualifications

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience
  • Good working knowledge of geotechnical and instrumentation works and compliance to local regulations.
  • Must be a registered and practicing Resident Engineer for the past 8 years.
  • Good management, analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Required Skill(s): 3 years relevant LTA project experience \xe2\x80\x93 Civil contracts (MRT / Underground / deep excavation works)
  • Priority will be given to Singaporeans and Singapore PR
  • Candidates who can start immediately will be a great advantage
Education

Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structural) recognized by JAC of IES/ACES as Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS), with
minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a Civil Engineer, including minimum of four (4) years of relevant
experience handling and supervising civil/structural/architectural and/or geotechnical works.

Required:

A recognized and relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a professional Engineer.
