Our client is in the Oil & Gas industry

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Rotating equipment Engineers for the FPSO EPC project

• Lead Engineer as Client facing for Gas Turbine and centrifugal gas Compressor packages and interface with utilities such as fuel gas skid package, Diesel fuel system etc for EPCIC project for onshore and offshore projects.

• Lead Engineer position for the FEED and Detailed design engineering of the rottaing equipment and packages

• Manage and Co-ordinate with OEM on the schedule and progress to meet the project schedule

• Familiar with applicable Codes & Standards for Rotating Equipment, API and PTC.

• Preparation and review of mechanical data sheet for Rotating Equipment and packages.

• Prepare technical specification, material requisition of centrifugal gas compressor gas turbine driven or synchronous motor, pump, etc.

• Prepare technical bid evaluation, clarification with vendors for technical confirmation of the package and Rotating Equipment

• Assist procurement team as required during the ordering stage

• Review / approve vendor documents for GTG and Compressor packages and Ancillary systems in line with client / contractors’ requirements, project specifications and follow up on the required approvals

• Providing the technical justification for the alternate solution within the budget.

• Review inter-disciplinary drawings and documents i.e. P&ID, Equipment Layout, etc.

• Participate in studies, design review meetings, HAZOP, Model Reviews, etc and close out the actions items interacting with OEM.

• Prepare interface list for package and client requirements.

• Follow up of all engineering issues for module engineering and close any outstanding issues as promptly as possible

• Review FAT procedure for main and ancillary equipment as per API standard and PTC codes.

• Attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) along with client / third party and resolve any client concerns with justification to meet the delivery.

• Prepare and arrange the Deviation Requests and getting approval from Client.

• Prepare VO Claim for Additional Scopes to Client

• Attend Pre-Inspection Meeting with QC team at Vendor Shop Attend project meeting / follow up meeting with vendors, client, third party etc

• Follow up to close any punch items carried over from factory at site.

• Assist construction team during module fabrication, equipment installation, and assist the pre-commissioning and commissioning team during yard testing

• Proposal Work for new tenders; pre-bid engineering including study of Client specifications/ requirements, techno-commercial bid evaluations, man-hour & cost estimations for proposals if required

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 12~15 years of experience in Rotating Equipment/Packages in Offshore Oil & Gas Design, Compressor and Gas

• Familiar with applicable Codes & Standards for Rotating Equipment, API610, 611, 612, 613, 614, 616, 617, 618, 619, 670, 671, 672, 673, 674, 675, 676, 682, ASME PTC10, etc

• Experience on the following is mandatory

o Gas Turbines e.g. GTG o Gas Compressor – centrifugal, centrifugal multi-stage, etc. o Design experience on Gas Turbines, compressors and Pumps /or Prior work experience with a company that supplies similar package equipment o Gas Processing Unit, Fuel gas package o Waste Heat Recovery Unit, Utility systems (Instrument Air, Nitrogen, Potable water), o Firewater system and Flare system and oil & gas, power plants.

• Experience in FPSO projects preferred

• Worked in Gas Compressor station projects

• Worked in Conceptual design, FEED, and Detailed Engineering projects

• Communication skills to coordinate with different levels in organization chart

• Commitment to the task assigned, self initiative and problem solving skills

• Able to provide quick and effective technical solutions, to suit requirements at all stage of the project.
