We are seeking an experienced Senior SAS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAS programming, data analysis, and reporting. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality, accurate, and efficient solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting our analytics and data management projects. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to support various analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionaries, process flow diagrams, and other relevant materials.
• Implement best practices in SAS programming, ensuring code quality, efficiency, and adherence to established standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency across various platforms.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAS programs to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior SAS developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SAS programming and data management.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in SAS programming, with a strong focus on data management, analytics, and reporting.
• Expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macro language, and SAS/STAT.
• Experience with various SAS modules, such as SAS/ACCESS, SAS/GRAPH, and SAS/SQL, is a plus.
• Proficiency in data manipulation, cleaning, and validation techniques.
• Strong understanding of database concepts, including SQL and relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
