Taking “gut instincts” to another level, AMILI is Asia’s first precision gut health company. Based in Singapore and serving Southeast Asia, AMILI is the regional leader in gut microbiome science, gut health solutions and other microbiome applications to enhance human health.

AMILI is seeking for driven and collaborative individuals based in Singapore that will be heavily involved in our growth trajectory as we promote gut health here and in the region. This role will report to the Head of Laboratory Operations & Research.

What you will be doing:

• Lead in product development from ideation, concept, prototype to commercialisation in accordance to AMILI Functional Food Business objectives and strategies
• Identify opportunities to make continuous improvements and continuously analyse competitor products, ingredients and processes and revise where necessary
• Manage specific projects as assigned and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
• Equip with up-to-date requirement of food regulations and ensure compliance in designing products
• Lead and conduct pilot plant trials and factory scale trials and effectively troubleshoot and offer plausible, executable solutions
• Stay abreast of new food ingredient and technologies, trends, and innovation as well as processing and equipment advances relative to key beverage categories

• Minimum Masters’ Degree in food science / Food Technology /Nutrition /Chemistry /Microbiology
• At least 5 years of Gut-microbiome/healthcare/food technology research in international food related companies
• Have published food related peer-reviewed articles
• Have experience in leading research projects

• PhD in food science / Food Technology /Nutrition /Chemistry /Microbiology
