You will be encouraged to think innovatively whilst developing and maintaining best practice.As a Senior Security Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of day-to-day Security Operations at Jetstar Asia, ensuring seamless coordination and regulatory compliance.As part of the Jetstar Asia Security team, you will have the opportunity to ensure a safe and secure travel experience for our passengers.Reporting to the Security Manager, your main accountabilities will include:1) Aviation Security Management

• Ensuring compliance of all international/national aviation security legislation and company standards. This would include maintaining regular engagement with relevant security stakeholders.
• Being responsible for the Security Risk Management including the identification of any risk and the analysis and assessment of strategic, military, terrorist and criminal threats.
• Being responsible for the Security Training Program including the development, updating & delivery of training content.
• Being responsible for the management of Inadmissible Passengers, Deportees and Persons-in-Custody.
• Exercising management of performance of Security Service Providers in ensuring consistent delivery of security handling.
• Managing the Security Quality Control Program which includes:

• conducting Security audits, inspections and tests on line stations and service providers, recommend improvements, and track closure of corrective actions independently and;
• coordinating audits by regulatory authorities and external parties.
• Managing the airside access control program for the Company in Changi Airport.
• Assisting the Security Manager in ensuring the readiness of the Security emergency response planning and response arrangements.
• Assisting the Security Manager to maintain and update the Security Management System (SeMS) periodically.

2) Other Security Functions

• Working with the Security Manager to drive the implementation of protective security and loss/crime prevention policies, standards and procedures.
• Assisting the Security Manager in Investigation - matters of impropriety or other Security incidents involving Jetstar Asia operations, staff, assets and customers (and their property).
• Assisting the Security Manager in the management of security (CCTV & Access Control) for Jetstar Asia offices & facilities.

To be considered for these roles you will ideally have:

• Tertiary qualification preferable or equivalent experience in similar fields.
• Belonging to an internationally recognised security organisation preferred.
• Aviation Security Management qualification preferred.
• Certification or relevant training in security audits preferred.
• Experience in security field preferred.
• Knowledge of international and national AVSEC legislation and standards, including ICAO Annex 17.
• Knowledge in the application of international and national criminal law.
• Experience in aviation operations and protective security practices and technology.
• Detailed personal knowledge of political/terrorist criminal affairs.
• Ability to successfully work in a team environment.
• Comprehensive interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess high levels of judgement.
• Well-organised and great attention to detail.
• Ability to influence the thinking of others.
• Commitment to delivery of company\'s service standards.
