What You Will Achieve
You will co-ordinate the manufacture of key API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) Intermediate processes and provide appropriate technical support to process teams to sustain and improve the processes. You will ensure flawless execution throughout each assigned campaign, focusing on the fundamentals of safety, quality, supply and cost. Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) development will also be a key part of your role. As a Team leader, you will be involved in leading work teams within a division. You will lead the people, technical and financial resources of the team. Thanks to your technical skills, you will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. You will be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise. It is your hard work and focus that will make Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.
How You Will Achieve It
Participate as shift team lead in the project design phase to provide expert insight.
Support senior operation manager to complete operation readiness actions and direct process technicians to perform operation task, pre-campaign start to meet production plan.
Coach and direct operation team to carry out commissioning and qualification activities for all the plant equipment.
Ensure effective training of all the operations colleagues and compliance to SOPs and OJT.
Ensure all process technicians perform their task in compliance to Environmental, Health & Safety, cGMP and all relevant plant policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Diploma in technical discipline.
10+ years of relevant experience preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated problem solving and business decision making
Excellent people and communication skills to provide guidance and support to their teams which enables their teams to grow and develop
Nice-to-Have
Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience
Previous experience in a Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} manufacturing environment
