Job Description
DESIGNATION : Senior Category Executive / Category Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES The incumbent is expected to:
- Lead the procurement initiative for the assigned category of products
- Work with various stakeholders (internal and external), updating the status of the procurement matters periodically
- Source, evaluate and negotiate suppliers\xe2\x80\x99 proposals for the assigned category
- Ensure adherence to import regulatory compliance according to Food Act requirements in Singapore
- Liaise effectively with Finance, Supply Chain, and internal business on any defective or discrepancy issues for the inbound shipment and ensure timely payment for completed imports
- Update process guides and documentation
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of procurement management and/or sales management
- Able to work under pressure.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented
- Oriented team player who is resourceful and able to work independently
