We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Manila! The Shipping team will focus on building dynamic vessel routing applications for the shipping industry, both for on-vessel and on-shore. This is a cross functional team, who is wholly responsible for the services and applications all the way from development to production, using a cloud-native approach.
Your day to day will include:

• Building idiomatic, ship-ready services and applications;
• Participating in Scrum activities such as planning, retrospectives, and standups;
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and solving production issues in your services;
• Close collaboration with the Product Owner and Tech Lead on ideas for new applications and features.

What you bring to the table:

• Experience with .Net, including both .Net Core and IIS
• Experience with relational databases is key, Informix experience is a plus
• Ability to modernize legacy applications using open source and cloud technologies
• Experience with installed applications, including both frontend applications and backend services
• Experience with AWS services and cloud native architectures
• Full stack focus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum
• Experience mentoring junior engineers is a plus
• Strong communication (written, presentation, verbal) skills
