Automation and Data Analysis

  • Primarily, the Sr. Specialist ensures that supplier product and price information in the e-Catalog and connected ERPs are always consistent and valid.
  • He/she works with various stakeholders to ensure that prices are always available for most of Maersk Procurement’s needs.
  • The Sr. Specialist is always on the lookout for automation opportunities, to further improve the utilization of the system, thus driving costs down for the company.
  • With around 6 million price points, the Sr. Specialist should be able to use this data to analyze and spot trends, opportunities or issues.

Solution Roll-out and Implementation Support
  • The Sr. Specialist participates actively in rolling-out the system to new business units. He/she can conduct specialized trainings and communicate well with global stakeholders.
  • During system upgrades and updates, the Sr. Specialist draws on his/her experience to provide inputs and recommendations, as well as perform various tests to ensure the upgraded system works as expected.

Application and Vendor Management
  • The Sr. Specialist monitors the application and logs any issues encountered with the Vendor.
He/she ensure that the application works optimally and maintains good relationships with the vendor so that issues are fixed within agreed service levels.
  • The Sr. Specialist may also be tasked to manage application changes and coordinate activities related to these changes with the vendor and the stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management
  • The Sr. Specialist communicates effectively with all global stakeholders and aims to resolve all reported issues and requests within the agreed service levels

Technical
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in supporting Requisition to Pay solutions, e-Catalogues and other e-commerce tools and solutions used in Procurement and Supply Chain.
  • Application Support experience utilizing ITIL Service Lifecycle is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various established and emerging web technologies relating to e-commerce, data and file management
  • Knowledge of common data file formats used in web applications (XML, JSON, CSV, XLS)
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting integrated solutions via web services is a plus.

Solution Roll-out and Stakeholder Management
  • Experience and involvement with solution implementation and roll-out activities and projects
  • Experience in various IT project activities (User Acceptance Testing, Regression and Integration Testing and Functional Acceptance Tests)
  • Exceptional and Pro-active Communication and Stakeholder Management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment in achieving KPIs and Business Targets.
