Job Summary
The role of FTE (Fab Technology Engineer) is to proceed with business opportunities progress and get wins in the business area of semiconductor CMP polishing and HDD CMP polishing in southeast Asia. You will understand customer technical requirements, discuss our solutions/products with the internal R&D team, and then make a technical proposal to the customer. You will be required to have the ability to communicate internally and engage with customers and promote evaluation/qualification.
Reports to: Director, Fab Technology Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Align with the Sales team to build a strong partnership with the customers.
Primary interface between the Customers technology team and Entegris R&D and Advanced Planarization Solutions (APS) team, as well as cross-division collaborations.
Identify needs and new business opportunities.
Technical interface for the development and adoption of Entegris products.
Introduce Entegris new and continuous improvement techniques and products to the customer.
Address our customers technical questions and concerns diligently and expertly.
Work closely with scientists, and engineers to stay current on Entegris new products.
Contribute towards a holistic sales strategy through regular alignment with the Sales team.
Participate in the design and execution of experiments to support customer evaluation and adaptation.
Requisite Criteria & Skills
A degree in engineering, chemistry, physics, or related field required. An advanced degree is a plus.
Proactive attitude to communicate with customer/internal teams to achieve new business wins.
Technical background experience in the semiconductor industry is a must.
5+ years minimum hands-on experience in the field of Semiconductor. CMP experience is preferred but not a must.
Strong understanding of the Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) polishing process.
Ability to develop an in-depth understanding of Entegris CMP technology and products.
Critical thinking skills to distill key messages both from VOC and Entegris technical data sets.
Ability to summarize scattered technical data into a compelling story.
Ability to use simple and customer-understandable language to explain Entegris product performance.
Ability to assess the business environment and consequently elaborate a technical strategy for the specific account.
