We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Specialist, Health Product and Pricing.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Assist senior stakeholders in designing strategies to achieve business goals through claims and any related analyses
  • Lead the technical pricing for both Individual and Group Health Lines of business and support the product launches and system implementation
  • Ownership of the Group Health pricing tool & other products pricing tools with the objective of continuously improving it in terms of technical accuracy and efficiency
  • Support the actuarial control cycle through assisting the valuation team in the reserving exercise and strategic planning exercise
  • Provide monitoring updates on profitability trends to senior stakeholders. This includes inflation studies, actual vs expected studies for all products, understanding the key profitability/loss drivers and providing recommendations
Requirements

  • Independent learner with strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, motivated team player who is dynamic and adapts will to changes
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge on Python, Emblem, Excel and/or Excel VBA coding is a bonus
  • 2 years of relevant actuarial experience
