Job Summary:

Accountable for all payroll related activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of payroll functions and systems for Singapore and Australia according to internal policies and external mandatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare, process and verifies all aspects of monthly or weekly payroll reports and documents for accuracy and make adjustments or corrections through internal procedures.

Ensure timely updates of all changes in SAP including new hires, leavers and promotions are processed accurately and timely.

Addresses any queries and errors with ADP after checking to ensure all system including time and attendance & updates, final ADP reports and payslips are correct.

Collate and analyze monthly reconciliation of payroll costs/ benefit components to identify potential risks, insights, trends and historical transactions to support workforce budgeting and compensation planning.

Prepares and files a variety of mandatory contributions and regulatory submissions including but not limited to Central Contributions Funds contribution, yearly IR8A submission to Tax authorities, Ministry of Manpower, EDB, WDA, etc according to required timeline.

Collaborate and liaise with internal stakeholders external parties including payroll vendors and auditors to ensure compliance with both internal and external mandatory requirements.

Respond to address employee inquiries, complaints or problems and make necessary adjustments of routine and non-routine nature in accordance with policies and legal aspects of payroll requirements.

Act as the subject matter expert in payroll processing and systems to update and improve policies, process and procedures affected by changes in mandatory regulations to support employees and stakeholders.

Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Basic Qualifications:

Recognized degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related.

5 years of working experience in Accounting or HR field and direct management of payroll processing in a predominantly blue-collar environment.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

High degree of accuracy, numerate and strong attention to details is essential.

Ensure highest level of integrity and confidentiality of personnel and sensitive information.

In depth application knowledge of Employment Act, Foreign manpower, CPF & payroll related regulations.

Excellent data management, reporting and analytical skills.

Advanced Excel proficiency with working knowledge in SAP or HRIS

Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamental Payroll and payroll legislation certification preferred.

Ability to communicate and interact well with stakeholders, including employees and colleagues.

Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target.

Able to comply with the company\'s safety policy at all times.

Able to comply with the company\'s quality policy at all times.

No travel required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Be resilient to handle inefficiencies in processes, systems and stakeholders\' demand.

Readiness to stagger working hours to communicate with employees in permanent night shifts.
