Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:As Senior Specialist SEO at adidas your role is to drive organic traffic to adidas Emerging Markets eCom through onsite, offsite, and technical SEO initiatives. You work with the team and internal and external partners to develop data driven strategies based on analysis and present the impact of SEO projects to wider stakeholders.Key Responsibilities / Authorities:Scope: Contribution to specific deliverables or servicesSEOWorking with internal stakeholders to develop and action on digital PR strategies that drive organic traffic growthLeveraging the power of adidas brand and commercial partners to gain high quality backlinksGetting stakeholder buy in for the SEO offsite strategyLog file analysis, GSC audits and content monitoringIdentify and fix crawling or indexation issues and develop page cannibalization strategiesTechnical audits to improve page performance, Core Web Vitals and site stabilityLog file analysis, GSC audits and content monitoringIdentify and fix crawling or indexation issues and develop page cannibalization strategiesTechnical audits to improve page performance, Core Web Vitals and site stabilityAnalysis and TestingMeasuring and reporting results of SEO activities and specific projects and communicating these to wider stakeholdersRunning SEO split tests to validate the impact of SEO changes and initiativesUsing search data to create insights that guide decision making of other teams such as PR, Sports Marketing and Business Units like Running and Football.Collaboration & ConsultingBe able to explain the impact of SEO on business objectivesUse data to get SEO initiatives prioritized and resourced.Work cross-functionally with global and market teams to create synergies, address opportunities and drive revenue.Best Practices & ToolsetsBuild and maintain best practice toolsets and frameworks that drive scalability and executional excellence.Key Relationships:Global Product teamsWeb AnalyticsMerchandise TeamsConsumer ExperienceMarket Retail/DTC PartnersRegional eCom counterpartsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Soft-SkillsGood communication skills, comfortable presenting in person and remotelyAbility to efficiently work in a cross-functional organization, ability to develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders from digital and non-digital disciplines on all levelsCreative and energetic team player who has a passion for SEOHard-SkillsExperience with SEO tools such as GSC, Keyword Planner, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and SearchmetricsExperience with reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe OmnitureUnderstanding of the importance of tech SEO and the strategies needed to be successful in tech SEOUnderstanding of Casual Impact data analysis and SEO testingExperience of conducting SEO tech audits, log file analysis and Javascript SEOFluent English, both verbally and writtenRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience in technical SEO, in-house or at a leading digital agencyUniversity degree in the field of Business or equivalentExperience with digital marketing in a brand environmentExperience working with Agile development teamsExperience in eCommerce environment
