The Opportunity The System Application group is responsible for the research support of the next generation silicon development and customer issue debug regarding the Preamp IC designed by Marvell.
Job Responsibilities:
Innovate, develop, and execute system level tests for Analog ICs using Python, Matlab, and lab test equipment such as arbitrary waveform generator (AWG), oscilloscope, network
analyzer, etc.
Responsible for conducting functional and performance validation, power analysis and performing electrical characterization across process, voltage, temperature corners.
Responsibilities also include test plan development, test automation and test report generation.
Work with design and validation teams to debug and resolve issues raised by both internal and external customers.
Provide technical support to Field Application Engineers, Test Engineers, Documentation team and customers.
Requirements:
Knowledge of HDD principles and operation.
Knowledge of Analog signal analysis.
Experience in current HDD Preamp development and test is preferred.
Experience in using test equipment such as arbitrary waveform generator and oscilloscopes.
Proficiency in C\\C++, MATLAB and\\or Python.
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 3-5 years of related professional experience. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.
