Job Description


Wood has an opportunity for a Senior Static Equipment Engineer (LNG) who has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies, FEED and EPCm phase related to LNG projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute Static Equipment Group work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards

Preparation of Datasheets, Material requisitions for the defined static equipment

Review of Vendor\xe2\x80\x99s quotations, prepare Technical Bid Evaluations and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor

Review of Vendor Drawings and Documentation as per relevant Technical Practices

Coordinate with inter-discipline staff on all technical issues to arrive at appropriate resolution

Correspond with the Vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary

Thermal Design of Heat Exchangers will be an added advantage

Lead small to medium scale projects

Train & Mentor fresh engineers and junior engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10-15 years of experience in LNG as well as Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical projects

Experience of working in LNG terminal projects.

Working Knowledge of Static Process equipment related to LNG projects

Well versed with international codes & standards

Well versed with Static Equipment software like Pvelite, Tank

Brownfield/Revamp project experience

Possess good interpersonal skill with sound written & oral communication skills

Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive

A team player and able to work under pressure
