Senior Store Manager * $2,800 - $3,000 * 6 days' work week, 1 off day on weekdays * Working hours: rotate shift based, follow schedule * Location: Island Wide Duties: Sales * Prepare Senior Store Manager $2,800 - $3,000 6 days' work week, 1 off day on weekdays Working hours: rotate shift based, follow schedule Location: Island Wide Duties: Sales Prepare daily and weekly sales estimates for all staff Communicate to all employee on new sales actions and products that have changed that day Ensure the selling area and stock rooms are fully prepared for selling to ensure staffs are ready to sell Ensure all staff are fully trained in the Company Customer Service Program Analyze Daily and Weekly Performance Summaries for the 4 key statistics and prepare the action plan to discuss actions to be taken with the appropriate staff and your District Manager Achieve the Personal sales and key statistics targets set out at the onset of the season Plan each day and discuss briefly with the staff what the goals are for that day to ensure maximum motivation and results Review weekly with each employee the individual 4 key statistics results and what actions will be taken to help improve performance Identify any slow moving stock and discuss appropriate action with the District Manager Post and maintain all category/sub category signs in the stock room to ensure stock can be retrieved quickly to maximize selling time Ensure all stock is shelved according to the visual merchandising guidelines All displays and fixtures are maintained and organized as per all company policies Maintain full knowledge of all stocks on hand to help all staff members to sell alternative shoes when certain stocks are low Ensure display space is representative of each category/sub category contribution to sales. Communicate all local and regional stock needs to the District manager Follow all head office communications and policies regarding price changes, sale actions and claims Maximize all Point of Sale materials as per the company policies Ensure all products is priced and ticketed in accordance with all policies Track and report all competitors' activities to the District Manager to ensure no loss of market share Plan and follow up on individual and group training requirements Identify and train the most promising individual to be deputy during your absence from the store Lead timely sales meetings to ensure two-way communications with your staff, allowing constant improvements Plan proper training and succession process for all promising employees by bringing them to the attention of the District Manager, Operations Manager and Human Resources Manager Respect the confidentiality of your management position safeguarding all information related to sales, profit, inventory, future planning and human resources issues Human Resources Motivate all staff to achieve personal sales results Delegate responsibilities to staff according to their talents, abilities and needs. Ensuring that overall store and customer requirements are always maintained Provide constant reinforcement on all outstanding efforts, actions and contributions made by staff members Review the staffing requirements on a timely basis to ensure all store and customer needs are met Ensure all induction programs are completed successfully Administration Participate in the preparation of the seasonal estimates and objectives for your store Ensure all staff fills in the Individual Daily Performance Summary recap at the close of each shift and the Weekly Performance Summary at the end of each week Ensure the Store Weekly Performance Summary is posted at the start of each week Complete the seasonal prosperity card weekly and the Permanent Prosperity card seasonally Prepare the weekly staff schedule according to the weekly sales estimates and productivity per hour schedule Ensure scheduled breaks and meals align with non-peak selling periods Maximize sales by scheduling yourself during peak selling periods to ensure maximization of all staff and floor management Keep all daily and weekly stock and cash accounting up to date in accordance with the company policies Daily petty cash is to be accounted, tracked and maintained daily and is to be 100 % accurate within the company policies Ensure that all customer claims are settled within the Civil law and company policies Ensure all company assets are documented and protected according to all company policies Requirements At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience (Fashion retail eg.
