Dyson\'s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes in the UK, through to volume manufacture in a Singapore plant. The cells that the team delivers will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency. These cells will drive new high value Dyson products with step improvements over our competitors.

Dyson Energy Storage is seeking a highly motivated Senior Supply Chain Manager to work closely with engineering, Manufacturing, development and finance teams to set up supply chain for the new department. As a senior supply chain manager, you will have a significant contribution to increasing the speed at which engineering can innovate. Your work will have a direct impact on our ability to scale prototype concepts and builds while continuing to innovate our products and processes.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible in developing \xe2\x80\x9cfit-for-purpose\xe2\x80\x9d supply chain for Dyson Energy Storage with a global scope.

Provide strategic thought leadership, expertise, and best practices to internal parties and influence business strategies.

Design and build supply chain process for Dyson Energy Storage (Battery) business division.

Ensure end to end supply chain capabilities, systems and footprint are built on time and on scope with internal stakeholders.

Define metrics and performance standards

Work with Digital team to define supply chain technology developments and integration.

Collaboration with various stakeholders to define supply planning, warehousing and logistic plans

Part-take in direct procurement process and ensure product cost is in within budget

Ensure standards and compliance due diligence are pro-actively looked after and smooth supply chain operations are achieved

Lead search, negotiation and qualification of vendors associated within supply chain and ensure successful deployment

Requirements

Degree in Business management / Supply Chain related fields

Minimum 10 years of experience in a supply chain function or related fields

Excellent understanding of demand and supply planning processes, business operations, and strategy.

Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, data modeling, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent project management skills, including time and risk management, and project structuring.

Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team- building, conflict resolution, and management.

Ability to manage human capital in a virtual and global environment to drive workforce development and achieve desired results.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including advanced negotiation, presentation, and influence skills.

Superior business acumen, technical knowledge of multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies.

Advanced understanding of national and international trade requirements.

Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
