Our Client:

Our client is a global leader in transportation, warehousing, logistics, and supply chain solutions. With a global presence of 50,000 employees across 150 countries, they are actively looking to hire a Senior Systems Analyst to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Building the EDI mapping Document to convert the data into XML standards
• Ensure EDI and migrations projects are complete and delivered successfully
• Engage in detailed project tasks, including business analysis, system configuration, product enhancements, EDI/API mapping, and IT Solutions Design, aligned with business and client needs
• Oversee the configuration deployment across application environments (e.g., WMS, TMS), collaborating with support teams and keeping business units informed and aligned
• Provide guidance to customer solution teams to lead technical conversations with customers to understand EDI requirements
• Provide logistics and systems consultancy to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead high-quality project management and implementations within the IT Contract Logistics team, ensuring efficiency in company operations and client projects
• Foster ongoing relationships with customers and service providers while executing project deliveries
• Analyze and diagnose application errors, eliciting business requirements and conducting thorough testing to minimize defects and unexpected issues
• Design, document, and review requirements and change management aligned with business needs for comprehensive understanding and acceptance
• Contribute to the design and development of new and existing applications, ensure smooth running of essential business processes for operational success
• Train and support staff in application usage
• Attend regular internal and external meetings to provide progress updates

The Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Industrial EDI standard knowledge (either ANSI, EDIFACT, ROSETTANET, UBL, GS1, TRADACOMS, ODETTE, VDA, HL7, or HIPAA, etc.)
• 5 years of IT experience with relevant SDLC/development or System Analysis experience
• Candidates with more than 8 years of experience may be considered for a more senior role
• Well-versed in programming languages such as C++, .NET, JAVA, etc., with an understanding of database schemas and proficient in optimizing SQL statements
• Experience in Process or workflow modelling tool
• Experience in 3PL from a Systems and Operational perspective
• Proficient in comprehending project and application life cycles, working effectively in an Agile delivery approach
• Strong knowledge in structured methods for specification such as Use Case Modeling, Data Modeling, and Interfaces
• Ability to conceptualize and relay technical information to non-technical users
• Excellent project management abilities, meeting deadlines and providing accurate estimations.

Bonus if:

• Keen interest to pick up new technologies and trends and implement for business/system platforms, i.e. REST/SOAP/XML Services, mobile apps, and incorporating cloud components
• Knowledge in latest automation technologies and implementation. (e.g. RPA, BI, Warehouse Automation)
• System Knowledge (WMS, TMS)
• Experience in Tier 2 WMS Implementation and SQL.
