JOB SCOPE

This role requires an experienced System Operation Senior Engineer with in-depth enterprise system technical expertise to operate the System Services. This role must also possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with various IT teams such as project managers, enterprise architects, management, and business leaders.

  • Provide critical support to core Microsoft infrastructure services such as\xe2\x80\x93 Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Certificate Services, Azure Active Directory, AWS, O365, MS Teams and Active Directory Connect.
  • Identify and implement improvements on the operational monitors to measure system performance and capacity metrics.
  • Work closely with other counterpart - System Architecture, IT Delivery team on System Engineering, Configuration, deployment, and project rollout.
  • Support multiple projects throughout the project lifecycles, manage conflicting priorities, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Foster a highly effective teamwork environment where accountability, clear effective communication, and a high level of customer service is demonstrated.
  • Prepare metrics reports and ensure optimal performance and keeping operation records efficiently for audit and operation analysis.
  • Possess good working knowledge of IT policies, SOP, Procedures, Audit and Statutory requirements.
  • ITIL services management best practices, OLA, and SLA management knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain all Systems Operation processes through standardization, continuous service improvement.
  • Identify potential vulnerability risks that may affect IT Enterprise systems & propose remediation strategies.
  • Ensure timely update, maintenance of system documentation including system recovery and DR documentations.
  • Tracking on the renewal of public digital certs, enterprise certificate authority, professional services and maintenance agreements needed to support system operation.
  • Work closely with Support vendor to support the IT Systems and O365 product suites according to the contractual requirement.
  • Support 24x7 hours business operation, after office hours On-Call support is expected as and when needed.
  • Share knowledge and solutions with team members/colleagues.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • More than 8 years of Enterprise IT experien\xe2\x80\x8bce including 5 years in supporting Microsoft Infra suite (AD, DNS, GPO, DHCP, Azure Active Directory, Azure VM, AWS, MS Teams, AD Connect).
  • Strong experience with Dell VxRail Hyper-converged systems regarding Cluster Management, monitoring nodes and drivers at physical layer; adding and replacing hardware; VxRail Physical link monitoring.
  • ITIL/Microsoft certification would be advantageous.
  • Working experiences in scripting advanced Power Shell cmdlets for automating tasks and simplifying configurations.
  • Experienced working in large and complex Systems Operation environment.
  • Demonstrated advance technical skills in supporting enterprise systems operation, current and emerging technologies, and collaboration skills to work with diversified work groups.
  • In-depth System technical skills across multiple disciplines \xe2\x80\x93 VMware VCenter, Physical and Virtual Systems, Windows Server, SAN Storage, Backup, High Availability System and DR readiness, inter network knowledge.
  • Experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of Cohesity and EMC storage unit
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
  • Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and technical documentation, reporting skill, ability to communicate to non-technical stake holders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Visio technical diagram and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Project Management skills and Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL Best Practices.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize own workload - good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an independent performer
