Job Description

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the E-Commerce industry. They are looking for a Senior System Engineer to assist their System Engineer team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in East – easily accessible. This Senior System Engineer would be responsible for : Duties:

• Responsible in managing and following up with IT vendors on IT service level delivery, infrastructure/hardware issues and errors
• Responsible in collaborating with all sites of IT vendors as well as internal application project and support teams to provide technical knows-how related to infrastructure and security
• Prior hands-on experience with technical responsibilities and be on-the-ground to assess and solve technical problems
• Responsible in driving standardization of infrastructure, security including policies and procedures.
• Responsible in managing daily IT operations including managing on premise networks, firewalls and servers, MS Office 365, AVs and security
• Responsible in participating in IT infrastructure projects
• Responsible in ensuring that infrastructure/cloud solutions implemented in the Company are economically viable
• Responsible in ensuring security, compliance, governance and policies are adhering
  

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/degree in Computer Studies/ Computer Engineering.or related studies
• Minimum 8-10years of IT related experience in infrastructure and operations
• Minimum hands on experience of 3 years of Linux platforms technologies experience
• Prior exposure with server virtualization, network, security, backup, software and/or hardware
• Prior experience in GCP and Hybrid (On-premises & Cloud) architectural environment is a bonus
• Prior experience with cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud designs for global context is a bonus
• Prior experience with project management, stakeholder management and vendor management is a bonus
