Location: Woodlands, SingaporeAbout the role:This role will champion and drive initiatives to pursue excellence in various fronts to achieve best-in-class manufacturing practices. The key job objectives include cost optimization, error prevention, contamination control and technical knowledge management.How you will contributeResponsible as the SME, to champion, develop and refine contamination control strategyLead complex investigation team which would comprises members from other functionsDrive error prevention and human performance initiatives to achieve Right-First-Time objectivesIdentify and participate in process optimization projects to drive for cost reductionDrive initiatives to enable a structured technical know-how and knowledge retentionChampion improvement of manufacturing process utilizing technical, business, Operational Excellence, human performance, and training methodologiesResponsibility to adhere to any applicable EHS requirements.Commitment to a fair and respectful relationship to others and behavior in accordance with Takeda\xe2\x80\x99s Code of Conduct.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.What you bring to Takeda:Education and Experience RequirementsDegree in Chemical Engineering / Bioengineering / Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering / Pharmaceutical Engineering or related and possesses at least 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industryDiploma in Applied Chemistry / Biomedical Sciences / Chemical Engineering / Food Science & Technology / Biologics & Process Technology / Chemical & Pharmaceutical Technology/ Food Science & Nutrition / Molecular Biotechnology / Biotechnology / Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering / Pharmacy Science or related and possess at least 10 years of relevant experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industryKey Skills and CompetenciesSubject Matters Expert in at least two of the areas of Bio-contamination Control, Lean Manufacturing, Tech Transfer, Technical training.Possess good communication and presentation skillsIdeally be Green belt trained/certified and possess good understand of LEAN and Six Sigma concepts.Possess critical thinking skillsGood knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Proficient documentation skills and computer skills including Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerpointStrong self-motivated team player with hands-on attitudeGood time management and team coordination skillsAbility to work in a matrix environmentUnderstanding of requirements from support functions and their capabilitiesExperience as a system user of business systems such as C3ME, XFP or TrackwiseAbility to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses/goggles, gloves and safety shoesAbility to gown and gain entry to cleanroomMore about us:At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best in class patient support programs.
