Your Career
We are looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer in IoT Security, you play a key role in providing detailed technical information to our partners, customers, and our internal employees. You will work with innovative technology, redefining the future of cybersecurity.
In this role, you'll help our product teams build the product and align it with market demand and also develop and deliver technical training for systems engineers. You are a self-starter, excited to learn and experiment with new technologies. You work well independently and excel at identifying the potential sales needs of our clients and shaping the direction of the company's products as a result. You aren't afraid of ambiguity - instead, you like the challenge of defining new products as they come to market.
Your Impact
Work with sales, marketing, product management, customers, and cross functional teams to promote and bring innovation to IoT Security
Create and deliver technical content that informs the field and our customers of new features, including tech notes, solution guides, white papers etc.
Develop and deliver competitive positioning strategies and answer specific questions relative to product area
As the subject matter expert, build relationships and help customers, channel partners, and System Engineers with product related questions and hands on technical training
Support sales processes, POCs, and discussions with prospective customers
Help the sales team achieve success of customer trials by assisting with understanding and configuring the product to the best use of its capabilities
Work closely with Product Management on product feedback for future improvements. Review and Create PRDs and Review engineering specs and provide feedback
Continues monitoring the performance of new releases after they are generally available.
Coordinate and lead ambitious projects in a multi-functional capacity with other teams
Create high-quality customer facing, partner facing, and sales facing collateral and presentations
Attend trade shows to educate employees and partners on core product differences and advantages
Product expert for the product features, test what's being built, be the voice-of-customer
Create and maintain an updated understanding of IoT threat landscape and perform customer and market research across the hottest security trends, industry analysis to assess market need, size of the opportunity, and competitive landscape
Out-of-the-Box thinker with creative ideas to continually differentiate against competitors and the market norm
Qualifications
Your Experience
5-7 years of IoT/ OT/ IIoT/ IoMT and network security/ network traffic analysis experience, including:
Deep understanding of passive IoT security solutions
Hands on experience in networking topologies, IoT/ OT/ IIoT/ IoMT protocols
Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) and/or Next Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions in diverse environments
Experience in OT industries (manufacturing, O&S, and Utilities) is strongly preferred
Experience with some of the following products/ technologies: Wireless LAN Controllers, Asset Management/ CMMS systems like ServicesNow, Network Management like Cisco Prime, Vulnerability Management systems like Rapid7, IPAM solutions like InfoBlox, XSOAR, SNMP
Understanding of SOC workflows & incident response
Experience in preparing compelling RFI/ RFP/ RFQ responses and processes
Demonstrated track record in running successful customer Evals/ PoC
Experience in evaluating and comparing different solutions
Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities
Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, ability to work in difficult customer situations.
Strong track record of collaboration with engineering, sales, internal stakeholders & partners to develop product requirements.
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, information collection, and attention to detail
BS/MS degree or relevant experience
Bonus points, if experience working with
PAN-OS and Palo Alto Networks solutions
EDR tools
Scripting especially using RESTful APIs
PCAPs, their collection and protocol decoding
VM/ Cloud technologies
