Your tasks * We are looking for an experienced technical writer with a proven ability to independently develop highly-usable technical documentation * You craft and maintain target group-oriente Your tasks We are looking for an experienced technical writer with a proven ability to independently develop highly-usable technical documentation You craft and maintain target group-oriented documentation for our high-tech products, such as reference and user guides, tutorials, online documentation You create the documentation based on your own technical knowledge, by researching development specifications, using product simulations and conducting interviews with subject matter experts You are responsible for the entire information development process, from your own research and information concept to publication and handing over for translation You develop information architectures, implement defined concepts, contribute to the further development of documentation products and to finding new solutions You work closely with colleagues within our team of technical writers, as well as from our headquarter and with international, cross-functional teams of developers and internal stakeholders Your qualifications Proven work experience in similar role in the field of technical communication, profound knowledge in methods such as topic-based writing, single source and cross media publishing Proficiency in English language and in working with XML-based authoring and content management systems Work experience in working in agile environment, documenting highly-customizable products with short release cycles and in using version control and change management tools Strong technical understanding, 'hands-on' attitude and passion about learning and explaining complex technologies Degree in engineering, computer or natural sciences, technical communication or a relevant professional experience High-degree of customer orientation, collaborative working style and proactive approach to delivering results Prior experience in one programming language is of an advantage
