Senior Technician

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with experience in Semiconductor Equipment, UPS, and Parts Cleaning. In this role, you will be responsible for appraising, troubleshooting, and servicing semiconductor equipment within clean room environments.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, while being self-motivated, meticulous, disciplined and a strong team player with high integrity.

As the Field Service Technician, you will also be responsible for performing installation and commissioning activities. You will provide front line support for key field service activities that align with customer requirements such as basic fault finding, rectification and planned maintenance activities.

In addition to this you must be able to provide accurate reports to the team leader or technical support personnel enabling informed decisions to be made on the course of action required to resolve product issues.

The successful candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate / Higher NiTEC or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent. Knowledge of electrical circuit theory is highly desirable along with great interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service abilities.
