Summary:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment; routine building inspection, maintenance and rectifying common building defects; waste treatment and pest control processes. Involve and monitor plant upgrading projects by external contractors. Assist supervisor to schedule work for the technicians.

Responsibilities:

Required to attend to any emergency call due to problems at any time. Responsible to act on the supervisor\'s behalf for all activities when he is not around. Responsible to schedule and implement technical training and preventive maintenance programs for technicians. Monitor contractors\xe2\x80\x99 work or extension projects. Conduct routine checks to ensure contractors comply to Baxter\'s specifications, EHS rules & regulations and GMP requirements. Carry out inspection, maintenance and repair work. Required to lead in troubleshooting of problems. Required to run a shift independently and may be required to perform any other shifts when necessary. Responsible for compliance to EHS procedure and requirement.

Qualifications/ Education:

• NITEC (NTC/ ITC)/ Diploma in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or equivalent

Skill Set and/or Experience:

• NITEC (NTC/ ITC) with Min 8 years/ Diploma with Min 2 years of relevant working experience in facilities related jobs (Electrical and Mechanical related aspects); or in building maintenance related jobs (Plumbing, Masonry, Carpentry and Pest Control)
• Must be able to understand Baxter specifications and SOPs so as to perform operation and maintenance of facilities critical system, building services, waste treatment plant and pest control program
• Must be able to perform troubleshooting during equipment breakdown and to rectify common building defects
