[What the role is]
As a Senior Officer, your role is to formulate, review and implement policies and schemes in specific functional areas. [What you will be working on] - Take on industry and internal projects, and develop software and firmware solutions for embedded consumer/communication/industrial applications based on business & technical requirements. - Development includes all levels of software from applications to protocol stacks to device drivers - Customize, test, maintain and support on existing reference solutions of embedded software and firmware for current and new application platform. - Provide software and firmware technical application support and advice to end-customer if needed. - Work closely with internal hardware design team for new software and firmware development requirements. [What we are looking for]
- Suitable credentials in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of working experience in real time embedded software programming and debugging with experience in industry software engineering process requirements.
- Knowledge in C/C++, MS Visual Studio, RDBMS, VxWorks, embedded processor architectures and embedded controller software development.
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency / Microwave Engineering and GSM / WiFi / Lorawan/ NB-IoT / ZigBee / Global Positioning Satellite applications would be an advantage
