Our Client:
Plastic Manufacturer
5 Days, Office Hours
Woodlands
Up to $5500 Basic + VB

Responsibilities:
Carry out DFM study and evaluation on customer drawings and technical documents to identify potential design and manufacturing issues.
Work closely with relevant departments to make necessary design improvements for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
Create, modify, and optimize tooling designs using 3D CAD software such as Creo Parametric / UG / NX tools.
Evaluate the availability of the manufacturing resources and capabilities (Malaysia and China) to meet production demands.
Perform comprehensive cost analysis studies and reviews to optimize tooling expenses while maintaining quality and performance.
Propose innovative process flows that enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:
Min. Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or related field
Min. 5 years of relevant Tooling Design / Mold Making experience
Proficiency in 3D CAD software \xe2\x80\x93 Creo Parametric / UG / NX tools
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking vendors
