You will provide your expertise to support regional transportation and logistics processes and work in coordination with other business functions to ensure efficient transportation of goods to our customers and patients and support the enablement and execution of our Transportation Management System (TMS).Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Support the requirements and Information gathering to support TMS Design and ImplementationAct as a regional subject matter expert to ensure voice of business in TMS developmentDevelop and implement transportation policies and procedures which support customer and business objectives within the TMS platformPlan, coordinate, schedule and oversee shipment activities as neededEnsure Transportation planning supports timely deliveries, are cost-effective and adhere to safety regulationsResponsible for hiring and training transportation staff (analysts, logistics personnel supporting day to day execution, etc.)Monitor transportation service level performance (3PL, carriers, suppliers, etc.) and associated KPI\xe2\x80\x99s/MetricsDrive / implement continuous improvements and cost saving initiatives as necessaryImplement strategic changes as necessaryCommunicate with carriers, suppliers/vendors, and customers to maintain strong relationshipsBudget management and oversightRequired Knowledge and Experience:Must HavesBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree requiredMinimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experienceYour ProfilePreferably 5+ experience in a Logistics/TransportationKnowledge of transportation operations, freight tendering, and tracking processesBroad experience in working with various modes of transportationExperience in scheduling, logistics optimization, and managing to customer demandsTMS knowledge and data analytics skillsSupply Chain Management expertiseDangerous Goods ExpertiseTrade knowledge ExpertiseFluent in English both written and spokenCustomer focused, problem solver, with the ability to troubleshootExperience working within the healthcare environmentWhat We OfferWe recognize the personal worth of employees by providing an employment framework that allows personal satisfaction in work accomplished, security, advancement opportunity, and means to share in the company\'s success.
