Senior Underwriter / Underwriter, Fine Art & Private ClientsSingapore xe2x80x93 Hybrid working modeAct as the technical expert for the function and or region. Responsible for working within authority limits on assignments reflecting the expert degree of technical complexity and coordination under broad management direction. Key responsibilities will involve underwriting business in line with the business plan; assisting the planning and forecasting process; monitoring aggregate exposure within agreed limits; monitoring premium income to ensure it remains within agreed limits; maintaining awareness of all claims advised; supporting and providing input on settlement of claims advised; building and maintaining relationships with brokers and clients; supporting the design and structure of risks; identifying and driving new product development opportunities.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?xc2xb7 To develop and underwrite Art and high net worth business with main focus on developing Singapore portfolio and South Asia market.xc2xb7 To achieve underwriting profitability and achieve overall growth plan on Art and Private Client portfolio.xc2xb7 Developing accounts with allocated brokers through:o Conducting broker visitso Implementing and designing development initiativeso New business conversiono Renewal retentionxc2xb7 Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize business opportunities and to increase our book in private collections and intuitional risks.xc2xb7 To identify and develop new business opportunity in art market through networking into the collectorsxe2x80x99 community, access good quality galleries and get closer contact to the public decision marking bodies for museums, exhibitions and eventsYou will report to the Head of Fine Art & Specie AsiaQualificationsSHARE your talentWexe2x80x99re looking for someone who has these qualifications and skills:

• A university degree in a related field is preferred
• Passion and knowledge of art
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Fluency in English is essential. The ability to converse and write in Mandarin will be advantageous when engaging with Chinese-speaking clients.
