The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi\xe2\x80\x99s compliance with financial rules and regulations.We\xe2\x80\x99re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead- Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Senior Vice President - C14) based in Singapore. The Asia Citi Treasury Investment (CTI) Business Unit Manager (BUM) will work as part of the CTI Business Unit Management team supporting CTI Asia Funding desks located in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Provide daily support and insights, monitor activity and performance vs Plan, develop analytical tools for granular insights into the generated Economic Value, ensure the desk operates in compliance with the relevant internal and external policies and regulations, establish appropriate controls and governance framework for the legal entities. Collaborate with the rest of the CTI Analytics team on broader projects. CTI Asia TSY BUM will work with two Desks located in Singapore and Hong Kong . The BUM is expected to accommodate complexed demands as derived by TSY needs both locally and at CTI NY level. The role is expected to communicate and interact with Singapore and HK senior management, NY senior leadership team members (CTI COO Team and Central Funding Desk where needed in NYC), ICRM, Audit, Controllers and In-Business Risk team. The communication can be around the clock with minimal direct supervision, for example late night calls with NYC BUMs and SeniorsThe CTI Asia BUM will ensure that all NY and Local Regulatory Requirements (for both CTI SG and CTI HK) and Compliance matters are complied to. This include the quarterly MCA process and to ensure alignment to CTI NY\xe2\x80\x99s ACRMs. The BUM is expected to have proven leadership qualities and skillset as the role is expected to participate in problem solving activities and lead/handle ad-hoc requests along with daily BAU monitoring of compliance matters.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99re expected to:
  • Risk and Control monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with both local and global regulations
  • MCA testing
  • Ad-hoc projects and initiatives
As a successful candidate, you\xe2\x80\x99d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
  • 10 plus years of experience working for a financial services organization
  • Experience with effectively analyzing Actual and Forecast results with a comprehensive knowledge of Transfer Pricing and other Intercompany items
  • Thorough knowledge of key Interest Rate Risk metrics (IRE, EVS) , working knowledge of Citigroup Financial Systems (PEARL / GENESIS / Etc.)
  • Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel / Access / SQL)
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge fundamental Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
