About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations. We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure. Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

The Technical Delivery Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing, building and overseeing AI and ML solutioning. He/she will be the central point providing expertise on ML complexities around interconnectivity, integrations, privacy, security, scalability and operation.
  • Architecting, designing, directing and leading AI and ML solutions that are scalable, fault-tolerant and low-bias and that can be integrated and operationalized using available tools and resources.
  • Defining the processes, standards, frameworks, prototypes and toolsets in support of AI and ML development, monitoring, testing and operationalization.
  • Establishing operational efficiency in AI initiatives by becoming the liaison with and developing a feedback loop between data science development and business use cases to ensure delivery of business value.
Managing application software delivery:
  • Plan technical deliverables (including any system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project\'s requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
  • Plan & collaborate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution
  • Plan, monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery
  • Provide status update to stake-holders/business users and program manager
  • Lead and partner with developers, testers, business analysts and SME\'s to drive technical delivery
  • Partner with enterprise architects to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security and control standards
  • Partner with testers to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance / load testing and application security testing
  • Prepare and manage technical implementation plan across application teams - coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure smooth production cutover and adequate post implementation support
  • Manage level 3 support (after helpdesk and app support) and production issue bug fixes.
  • Escalate issues that impacts project schedule on timely basis and propose workarounds/resolutions.
Job Requirements
  • At least 10 years of leading and driving end to end delivery, working closely with software architects, data architects, data science teams and senior leadership
  • Track record in building A.I. capabilities in enterprise architecture
  • Leadership, delegation and technology management skills
  • Systems design thinking, strong strategizing and governance skills
  • Ability to set long-term goals and planning in partnership with business and senior management
