Senior Vice President/Executive Director, Asia IT & Operations Department - Singapore Systems Line Your key roles & responsibilities include: * In order to ensure the quality of system developmen Senior Vice President/Executive Director, Asia IT & Operations Department - Singapore Systems Line Your key roles & responsibilities include: In order to ensure the quality of system development of Singapore System Line's investment projects and maintenance projects, he will examine and improve the content of the development plan and the plans for each development phase. Also, review test plans and test cases and consider necessary improvement plans. Report the status of quality assurance of each project to the Singapore branch and HO management. Manage projects and ensure the completion of all processes and tasks as a project manager. Lead team members and vendors, as necessary, to complete all tasks as planned and as required. Lead projects, which include resolving issues, managing vendors /resources /budgets /schedules, and prepare reports to management and Head Office for approval if required. Coordinate all processes to ensure that all tasks progress smoothly for users and developers /vendors, as well as for external parties such as industrial parties, internal legal parties, auditors, and the compliance section in the Bank. Communicate and negotiate with Head Office properly with strong leadership in an appropriate way to promote projects. What you should have: A Bachelor's Degree. At least 15 years of experience in banking and an intimate knowledge of banking operations. Prior experience of planning, in a managerial /leadership position in financial institution is required. Experience in banking operation in oversea countries will be strongly encouraged. Experience and knowledge about IT budget planning and control including negotiation with relevant parties such as Head Office IT planning section will be an advantage. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to acquire consensus among stakeholders. Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is mandatory as the incumbent is expected to read & understand documents as well as respond, communicate and lead a meeting with project members including management in Tokyo (Head Office) in these two languages.
