About the Department
Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.
Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.
Job Responsibilities
As a Head of Infra Service Recovery, you will be responsible for building Infra technology capabilities as well as processes to significantly uplift the Service reliability of Banks Critical Infrastructure. The role will include managing Infrastructure that hosts banks business critical systems, as well as managing the various Infra Run teams (Compute, Storage, Network, Database, Middleware, Voice Infra, End User Computing and Workplace Technologies), enhancing processes to maximize service reliability and reduction of toil through automation.
The candidate should possess strong leadership skills and requires a mix of technical acumen, strong infrastructure awareness, critical thinking, strong communication skills, application partner and vendor management, and ability to manage issues and work efforts end to end.
The role will also participate in incident calls, root cause analysis of incidents and address all of the issues at the source through technical solutions as well as process improvements. You will partner with Infra Engineering and planning teams to define the Infrastructure build and operational standards, drive down manual work through automation, and improve monitoring, fault-tolerance as well as system scalability.
As an Infra Service Recovery Lead, you will be making decisions of a strategic nature that would influence Infrastructure Architecture, Solutions and Technology Operations in the Group. Your expertise in analyzing complex systems, anticipating problems, and finding ways to mitigate risk will be key to your success in this role.
