About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sector Head of Industrials, of which the Automotive, Metals & Mining and Diversified sub-sectors come under, your responsibilities include the implementation and execution of sector-specific strategies, initiatives, and solutions for the Industrials\' sector focused on Financial Supply Chain Solutions (\xe2\x80\x9cFSCM\xe2\x80\x9d), detailed below. You will be required to work with multiple stakeholders including product partners (including Transaction Banking - FSCM, Trade and Cash sales, product management), Coverage Segments (Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Structured Trade and Commodities Finance (STCF) and Financial Institution Group) and Credit Partners across UOB focused markets for growing and delivering financial and non-financial targets.

• Responsible for origination of FSCM pipeline for primarily Industrials\' Sector and other sectors within SSG.
• Provide advisory and consultative role across SSG when required in supporting SSG to meet its ambition in driving the growth of (\xe2\x80\x9cFSCM\xe2\x80\x9d) solutions for clients both existing and new clients in the Industrials and other sectors within SSG.
• Provide structured FSCM solutions and pitch to targeted clients to enable UOB to be their preferred provider of trade finance across their ecosystem by addressing their working capital objectives, balance sheet management etc.
• Responsible for implementation and execution of FSCM pipelines for SSG. To ensure success and handle end to end pitching to on boarding of Anchor and Spoke including anchor and spokes\' programme paper, agreement and terms negotiation and operational discussion to roadshow (if required) and program launch. You will work on this jointly with Transaction Banking product partners.
• To represent SSG for FSCM related, deal level pipeline discussions / alignment with internal stakeholders including Trade Product partners to ensure sector specific nuance/ pain points / requirements are addressed and incorporated in our FSCM deal structures and negotiations.
• Be the subject matter expert for FSCM origination and pitch for other sectors within Sector Solutions Group

Job Requirements

• At least 12 years\' banking experience covering Industrials sector in a similar role, or in Corporate / Commercial Banking or Project Finance in Asia
• Understanding of banking products such as Cash Management, Trade and Financial Supply Chain Management, Treasury and Hedging Solutions.
• Relevant experience in Financial Supply Chain Management financing origination
• Proven ability to execute sector specific initiatives
• Knowledge of sustainability or ESG developments
• Good grasp and experience in ESG/Green Loans, Sustainability-Linked and Transition Financing.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
