Job Description

The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated and has hands-on experience with application design and development. He/she will be maintaining and supporting the business critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and production support (including night support) for business critical applications. The activities include application development, code modifications, problem troubleshooting and testing.
• Perform system impact assessment, documentation, design, coding, functional and non-functional testing and implementation for system enhancements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and clarify new application interface requirements.
• Work closely with external stakeholders to review vendor\'s deliverables (functional/technical/design documentation) to ensure they meet business requirements and conform to the company\'s policies and guidelines.
• Support onboarding of new post trade participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in application support and management of projects
• Proven experience in code reviews and code analysis
• Proficient with CI/CD tools (including Bitbucket, Jenkins and JFrog), Tomcat, Java8 and Cloud Technologies
• Experience in DevOps and agile development methodologies
• Experience in industry specific messaging protocols such as SWIFT, FIXML and ISO15022/202022 will be advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to think up innovative ideas to solve problems and challenges
• Strong communication skills with good ability to interact with users, technical colleagues and vendors
