What the role is:SCERD develops and implements the overall strategy to ensure that Singapore's supply chains are resilient, open and connected.What you will be working on:In this role, you will: Analyse and synthesize findings on industry and critical sector supply chains, challenges and needs; Develop and implement national and sectoral strategies to secure the resilience of Singapore's supply chains for essential and critical goods and services; Build the division's collaboration network with key stakeholders across the Government, industry and academia; Work with industry partners to design and deliver solutions that can be implemented across different sectors in Singapore to enhance the resilience of their supply chains; and Represent Singapore's supply chain resilience interests in international agreements/platforms and drive collaboration efforts with international partners.What we are looking for:Degree in Engineering, Economics, Science, Humanities or other relevant disciplines Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; Able to work independently as well as in teams, and across multiple workstreams; Aptitude for policy design, systems and analytical thinking, in order to deal with complex problems and recommend actionable solutions; Possess a driven and self-starter attitude as well as resourcefulness in solving problems; Good stakeholder management skills dealing both with internal and external stakeholders; Knowledge about supply chain management and/or risk management would be advantageous though not required.About Ministry of Trade and Industry:The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) seeks to transform Singapore into a leading global city of talent, enterprise and innovation.
