What the role is
The Productivity Fund Administration Board (“PFAB”) is a statutory body established by the National Productivity Fund (“NPF”) Act. The primary function of PFAB is to evaluate and review proposals for usage of the NPF and to ensure proper governance of monies in accordance with the NPF Act and approved purposes of NPF.

What you will be working on
Responsibilities You will be part of the PFAB Secretariat who is in charge of managing and administering the NPF monies on day-to-day basis. You will take on the deskhead role and manage a portfolio of agencies, providing advice and support on budgetary and financial matters to ensure proper governance of monies in accordance with the NPF Act and PFAB’s internal policies. You will be reporting to the Team Lead and the scope of work will include, but not limited to the following: • evaluate project and funding proposals to support agencies in productivity improvement initiatives; • process the disbursement of grants to agencies; • monitor budget utilisation and cashflow projections; • monitor and review the effectiveness of policies and schemes that impact productivity; and • monitor and review the rectification of agencies’ audit findings
What we are looking for
Requirements You should have/be: • a self-starter and team player, with excellent communication, negotiation and project management skills; • prior experience in finance, budgeting, formulating and reviewing public policies and/or running inter-agency projects would be advantageous; • comfortable with numerical and trend analysis and have a basic understanding of economics and accounting concepts; and • committed, self-driven and thrive in a fast-paced environment
