Job Description

What you will be working on:1. Carry out surveillance and inspections of works near sewerage network to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with approved plans, and Code of Practice, and in compliance to Statutory Requirements. 2. Supervise related works carried out by contractors to ensure compliance with contract specifications/requirements, approved plans, Statutory Requirements and Code of Practice. 3. Investigate potential non-compliance activities and identify specific non-compliances in relation to Statutory Requirements for works carried out on or near the sewerage network. 4. Provide investigation findings to support Engineers in the recommendation of suitable enforcement actions to offences / non-compliances. 5. Explore, propose, and implement technologies and initiatives to enhance the surveillance and protection of sewerage infrastructures. 6. Carry out administrative duties for contracts according to contract specifications and requirements.What we are looking for:

• Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Environmental engineering. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to carry out site work at construction sites, with exposure to used water environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work effectively with others in a team environment, as well as independently. Possess strong critical thinking skills and keen attention to detail. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with members of the public, contractors and other stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate with experience in management and supervision of construction work activities and/or investigation works related to regulatory compliance is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate with valid Class 3/3A driving license preferred.
