Design mechanical/electro-mechanical components using 3D CAD software (CATIA) for automotive interior body electronics products (e.g. Body Control Modules, Zone Controllers, Door Control Modules, High Performance Computing Units, Seat Control Units\xe2\x80\xa6).
Develop mechanical drawings (customer, manufacturing, supplier) according to worldwide standards, vehicle requirements as well as product function analysis.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to all designs and Drawing
Develop plastic and metal parts to automotive specifications with local and international teams.
Perform tolerance studies for all assemblies to ensure proper fit and function of components.
Execute structural calculation for designs and verify the results by doing engineering testing.
Cooperate with global manufacturing locations to ensure proper production set up.
Work with both local and global suppliers for all purchased parts from concept phase to part release.
Conceptualize new designs for new project acquisitions.
Manage and maintain Technical Product Documentation throughout the Product Life Cycle of the project.
Execute Engineering Change management and documentation.
This includes Variant control, drawing contents updating, based on internal worldwide procedure and customer standards.
Implementation and update design changes with proper traceability.

Bachelor degree or higher, major in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes for plastic injection moulding, metal stamping and die casting.
Knowledge of Quality tools i.e. Six Sigma, A3, DFMEA, DRBFM, FTA\xe2\x80\xa6
Ability to cope with high workload situations and under time pressure.
Ability to present / explain technical contents in a structured and systematic way.
Attention to details.
Ability to attend technical meetings with global supply base, as well as to communicate with international teams.
