Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead a team of Assistant Engineers and Technical Officers to carry out Fare System maintenance and project work activities.

Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

• Technical support to the Maintenance team
• Conduct investigation, review engineering work processes and initiate appropriate corrective / preventive actions
• Comply to company policies, quality standards and safety procedures
• Participate in project tender submission and evaluation
• Design review of Fare System design proposal which covers document / drawings / processes / procedures submitted by others
• Update and report project status and progress
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project manager and various parties (internal & external) on Fare System project work activities

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree in engineering discipline (preferably in Electrical and Electronic or Mechanical or Computing Engineering).
• Relevant experience in the project management in related systems such as Automatic Fare Collection System and Access Management System would be an added advantage.

Skills

Technical skills include:

• Good analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Good in project management, information management and creative thinking.
• Good understanding of Automatic Fare Collection system and design.
• Good understanding of RAMS, FMECA, QC/QA process.
• Good understanding of production assembly setup and process.
• Good technical design knowledge.

Generic skills include:

• Able to work independently
• Ability to schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion
