Senior/Executive, Proficiency Development - CCL
Job Purpose
As an CCL HQ Office, Proficiency Development Office (PDO) is established to oversee and provide leadership as well as governance on matters pertaining to managing of training and proficiency across CCL.
Being an operational line, it is imperative CCL ensures high operational readiness and effectiveness are always maintained at the desired proficiency levels; training effectiveness viz. standards and their timely adequacy provide such proficiency assurance. To attain such assurance, CCL PDO’s work is aimed at enabling CCL to (i) continually improve baseline standards of training & trainers, (ii) ringfence competency and (iii) raise proficiency of staff and teams. CCL PDO supports the Line to achieve these through centrally establishing a Proficiency Management System to institutionalise the requirements, standards and processes to manage, direct and govern training and proficiency in CCL.
The (Senior) Executive is responsible for the Curriculum & Pedagogy Section of PDO, and is required to support the Branch Manager in leading and managing the team’s efforts towards fulfilling PDO’s scope of work, including (a) training system establishment & maintenance, (b) policy promulgation & implementation, (c) system governance and (d) trainer-readiness.
