Job Description

Job Purpose

The incumbent is to oversee transactional tasks for recruitment and onboarding process in SMRT. You will collaborate with the stakeholders to process the candidate's recruitment and onboarding accurately and timely based on the requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality mass operational duties using appropriate resources and follow-up accordingly in a timely manner from issuance of letter of offers until first day onboarding.
  • Administers and monitors work pass applications, pre-employment check-ups for new hires.
  • Support the implementation of governance policies and procedures to ensure transactions are in adherence to established guidelines and compliant recruitment standards.
  • Ensure accurately and proper up to date system records and appropriate documentation of all new hires based on compliant recruitment standards.
  • Responsible for meeting recruitment service standards and key performance indicators.
  • Maintain relationship with both internal and external parties to ensure staffing goals are achieved in a timely manner.
  • Act as a point of contact with regard to operations matters.
  • Continuously identify areas of improvement and communicate suggestions as appropriate.
  • Participate as a member on system enhancement for Recruiting and Onboarding.
  • Undertakes any other tasks assigned.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a HR generalist or operational support for recruitment.
  • Some experience with large scale recruitment and overseas recruitment of bargainable staff would be advantageous.
Skills

Technical skills include:
  • Familiar with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and SAP.
  • Good knowledge of labour laws and legislations in Singapore.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and embrace technology.
Generic skills include:
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different level.
  • Self-motivated, creative, energetic, and able work under pressure to achieve targets.
  • Excellent active listening skills and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to deliver timely, accurate, thorough, and high-quality work in challenging situations.
  • Able to multi-task and work well in a structured corporate environment.
  • Able to identify gaps to improve talent acquisition processes for maximum workflow efficiencies.
